TEACHING
I have taught a variety of introductory and advanced biology courses. Please feel free to contact me for previous course materials. Syllabi for courses designed and/or instructed by me can be accessed here:
Vertebrate Evolution
Population Genetics Modeling and Inference
Field Ecology & Herpetology
MENTORSHIP/INTERNSHIPS
This year I am mentoring a pair of SRMP students through the AMNH – for more info on our project, check out the srmp4life website
For young scientists (high school & undergrad level) interested in herpetology and evolution, check out this presentation about my current work, and reach out to me regarding available opportunities to conduct original research at the museum!
OUTREACH
Scientific communication is especially important to me because many of the exotic and unique species that I study are drastically misunderstood! I participate in many of the AMNH education & outreach events – you can contact me directly regarding public talks & lectures (all age groups), and general snake/education inquiries.
